We are seeking a highly skilled Research Development Officer to join our team.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice on funding opportunities, identifying and developing research initiatives, and building proposal preparation skills.

  • Develop and implement grant application support processes.
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships with industry and government stakeholders.
  • Provide high-level administrative support to senior staff members.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for research development and a keen eye for detail.


About the Position

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field.
  • Extensive experience in research development and grant writing.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.

A PhD is highly regarded, but not essential.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Work collaboratively with researchers to identify and develop grant applications.
  • Provide expert advice on funding opportunities and grant scheme rules.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry and government stakeholders.

This role requires a high level of autonomy, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
