We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our payroll team. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of payroll across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring compliance and providing exceptional support to our people and business leaders.
Key Responsibilities- Process payroll mid-month cycles, amendments, out-of-cycle pays, and terminations efficiently.
- Maintain employee records, including salary changes, allowances, and deductions accurately.
- Manage payroll inbox queries and database accuracy effectively.
- Prepare general ledger journal entries and perform reconciliations.
- Submit tax file number reports, end-of-financial-year reconciliations, and payroll tax lodgments on time.
- Report superannuation, novated leases, and fringe benefits tax accurately.
- Renew workcover policies and report HR workplace gender metrics.
- Provide accurate payroll reports to finance and management.
- Investigate complex payroll queries and provide solutions.
- Assist with acquisitions and onboarding of new businesses.
- Partner with general managers and stakeholders to support payroll outcomes.
- Drive process improvement and participate in system and project initiatives.
