Job Opportunity:

Payroll Specialist

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the accuracy and efficiency of day-to-day payroll processing and administration.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll accurately and on time, including leave management and reporting.
  • Maintain data integrity through quality control and accurate record-keeping.
  • Deliver excellent service while fostering teamwork and strong business relationships.
  • Support payroll process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with wage adjustments, deductions, and terminations.
  • Identify and report risks while ensuring adherence to safety policies.
  • Promote a strong risk culture within the team and organization.

Key Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in payroll administration.
  • Progress towards or completion of a relevant payroll qualification.
  • Familiarity with commission/performance-based payroll systems.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and industrial acts.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

About This Role:

This full-time position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with in-office days from Tuesday to Thursday and remote workdays on Mondays and Fridays.
