Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely payroll services, supporting the Finance function, and contributing to the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing: Manage the end-to-end payroll process for approximately 100 employees across multiple systems using MYOB
  • Employee Records and Compliance: Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with relevant awards and regulations
  • Payroll Reporting: Prepare reports related to timekeeping, superannuation, and other payroll matters
  • HR Support: Assist with HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, and employee documentation
  • Administrative Tasks: Provide support with general bookkeeping, invoicing, and administrative tasks

Key Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in payroll processing, preferably within manufacturing or construction
  • Strong understanding of Fair Work legislation, award interpretation, and payroll compliance
  • Proficient in payroll and accounting systems
  • High level of accuracy, discretion, and organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
