Accounts Manager

We're seeking a highly skilled Accounts Manager to join our team in Newcastle. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to the growth of our business.

This role offers a unique blend of autonomy and support, allowing you to shape the position and drive results. You'll work closely with our National Head Office to achieve success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage bookkeeping tasks, including financial administration, client invoices, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records through general ledger management.
  • Provide backup support for the Home Care Package administrative function and assist with client queries.
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with fortnightly payroll using Xero.

You'll collaborate with office and care staff, supporting team members and liaising with external stakeholders. Maintaining accurate documentation, adhering to organisational policies, and contributing to continuous improvement are essential aspects of this role.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge and experience in bookkeeping and accounting procedures with a Diploma and/or Certificate IV Bookkeeping, Accounting, and/or relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in using Xero accounting system.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Empathetic and patient, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
