Job Opportunity: Team Leader in Adult Services

We are seeking a skilled and experienced leader to join our team as a Team Leader in Adult Services.

This role is crucial in building an accountable and effective workforce that delivers exceptional support to vulnerable individuals within our community.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Empower a team of Support Workers to provide high-quality services
  • Coach and mentor a team of Support Workers, offering on-the-job training, support and guidance
  • Inspire a skilled, versatile, and diverse team utilising your experience in managing performance and delivering support
  • Support service delivery by ensuring effective administrative processes and procedures

You will have:

  • Proven advanced problem-solving, emotional intelligence and positive interaction skills across diverse communities
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and performance manage teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective conflict resolution, negotiation, mediation and decision-making skills
  • Track record of building cohesive teams with clear goals and fostering innovation and collaboration
  • Commitment to a person-centred approach for vulnerable individuals
  • Celebrate and nurture an inclusive, diverse and supportive workplace culture

Qualifications in Disability Services or Individual Support are highly regarded but not essential.

Compliance requirements include a current NSW Driver's licence, Working with Children Check, National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check and First Aid Certification.
