Training and Development Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Training and Development Lead to spearhead our training initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying individual training needs and collaborating with department heads to provide support to new mentors and trainers.

In this role, you will train mentors and trainers in classroom management and student engagement, workplace training delivery, and evaluation techniques. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of learning materials and delivery, and create and deliver trainer training specific professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify individual training needs, qualification upgrades, and further qualification attainment
  • Collaborate with Heads of Department to provide support to new mentors and trainers
  • Train Mentors and Trainers in classroom management and student engagement
  • Train Mentors and Trainers in workplace training delivery
  • Evaluate Trainer training and program delivery effectiveness
  • Create and deliver Trainer training specific PD
  • Monitor Trainer PD and Industry release schedules and completions

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years in a Training leadership position
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Training delivery skills
  • Evaluation skills – ability to assess Trainer effectiveness and quality delivery standards
  • Leadership skills – ability to lead and motivate training teams
  • Mentoring and mentoring program development or proven skills to create
  • Experience in using aXcelerate SMS and LMS software
