Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Biomedical Scientist to lead our histopathology training program, ensuring a high-quality patient care experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for histology staff, adhering to ISO 15189 standards.
  • Organize and implement training and development initiatives for staff and users of the Histology Service under the direction of the service lead.
  • Maintain own competence and contribute in technical areas as required.
  • Identify, communicate, and record the training and development needs of Histology staff.

Requirements

  • Biomedical Scientist with significant experience in Histopathology/Cellular Pathology NHS laboratory.
  • Experience in training staff, preferably with a background in histology or cellular pathology.
