Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing worker and employer registration applications to ensure compliance with legislative requirements. This includes notifying scheme participants of application outcomes, providing detailed written communication on negative assessments, and conducting assessments of service credits.

You will deliver accurate information and advice to applicants, both written and verbal, and address complaints from workers. Additionally, you will process applications, maintain the accuracy of the registration database, educate scheme participants about services and processes, and participate in a rotating phone roster to respond to customer enquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assess worker and employer registration applications to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
  2. Notify scheme participants of application outcomes.
  3. Conduct assessments of service credits for scheme participants.
  4. Deliver accurate information and advice to applicants.
  5. Address complaints from workers.
  6. Process applications and maintain the accuracy of the registration database.
  7. Educate scheme participants about services and processes.
  8. Participate in a rotating phone roster to respond to customer enquiries.

Requirements:

  • Ability to interpret and apply legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Flexibility and teamwork skills to adapt and support colleagues.
  • Demonstrated decision-making ability in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to quickly acquire detailed knowledge of the schemes administered.
