We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Health and Safety Professional to join our team at Latrobe Regional Hospital.

About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to drive and proactively support the Health and Safety programs, systems, and risks associated with operations for employees, patients, and visitors of Latrobe Regional Health.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure occupational health and safety policies, procedures, activities, and functions promote organisational objectives and strategies that comply with relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and standards.
- Analyse data, develop reports, and provide recommendations to senior management and executive.
- Lead and promote a positive and engaged safety culture through interactions, behavioural safety programs, and assurance activities in a large, multi-campus organisation.
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary of $46.99 per hour, access to salary packaging, and flexible working conditions. Our staff also enjoy access to ongoing development through daily education sessions, bespoke training, and career & study support.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualification in Health & Safety or a related field.
- Broad experience in H&S legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and standards.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
