Senior Anaesthesiologist

We are seeking a Senior Anaesthesiologist to join our team at Latrobe Regional Health, a leading healthcare facility in the Gippsland region of Victoria. As a Senior Anaesthesiologist, you will be responsible for providing clinical expertise and excellent service in anaesthesia and perioperative medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

• To participate actively in the effective function of the department and to co-operate with other members in the provision of patient care.
• To provide supervision to junior medical and other relevant staff within the Unit/ Department.
• To support Latrobe Regional Health's (LRH) quality, monitoring and improvement initiatives.
• To support LRH teaching, research and clinical governance programs.
• To support the strategic priorities and values & beliefs of LRH.

Your Qualifications

• Legally qualified medical practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) without conditions, undertakings, or reprimands that could impact on their clinical practice.
• Fellowship of the Australian & New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (or eligible for fellowship via the recognition of equivalent training pathway).
• Meets LRH requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in anaesthesia.
• Demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in anaesthesia.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
