Position Overview
As a Civil Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the energy landscape in Australia. This position is integral to our mission of innovation and sustainability.
Role Responsibilities
Your primary duties will include:
- Collaborating with subcontractors to ensure that construction meets technical specifications, quality standards, and client expectations.
- Conducting thorough surveys of installations throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all results are meticulously reviewed and documented.
- Supporting the Project Manager in adhering to the necessary documentation as per the UGL Management System.
- Working closely with the Construction Manager to maintain project timelines.
- Serving as the main point of contact for all technical inquiries related to civil and structural subcontractors and suppliers.
- Providing expert engineering guidance to subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assisting the Project Manager in the preparation of monthly progress reports and participating in client meetings.
Qualifications and Experience
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A degree in Civil Engineering.
- Extensive experience in engineering, particularly in design, construction, and commissioning across both Brownfields and Greenfields projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong negotiation abilities and the capacity to build effective relationships at various organizational levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
