Equipment Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Equipment Maintenance Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the cleaning and inspection of equipment at our Maitland branch.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. If you are a hardworking and flexible individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality results, we encourage you to apply.

  • Check and control equipment (inbound & outbound) as it comes in and out of the yard and provide support to Truck Drivers by spotting while they perform their load/unload tasks.
  • Perform basic inspection checks and minor repairs of equipment at the branch following our maintenance program.
  • Responsible for keeping workshop, yard, and service area clean, tidy, organised, and safe.

About You:
This role is perfect if you are mechanically minded, enjoy fixing equipment, and have amazing customer service skills. As well as having a can-do, flexible attitude, you will have:

  • Current driver's license is essential, & forklift high-risk license will be highly regarded.
  • Good verbal communication skills, work well within a team, and unsupervised.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills, time management, and organisational skills.
  • Be physically fit and knowledgeable about safety standards.
  • Mechanical equipment knowledge is desirable especially around small tools and equipment.
  • Familiarisation with Take 5's and JSEA's - Safety First Attitude is a must.
