Maintenance and Reliability Specialist

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


About The Role

The successful candidate will oversee a small but experienced team of 6 professionals, responsible for ensuring the reliability and uptime of complex equipment in a daily fresh facility.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, support, and develop a seasoned maintenance team.
  • Enhance equipment reliability and efficiency, particularly with legacy systems.
  • Implement modern maintenance practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with site leadership on capital projects, maintenance planning, and long-term strategies.
  • Oversee preventative and reactive maintenance schedules.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong leadership skills with a proactive approach.
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing, preferably in fresh food sectors.
  • Able to drive improvements in reliability and efficiency.
  • Effective change management within established teams.
  • Trade qualifications or an engineering background are highly valued.
