Job Description

The Timetable Change Specialist will lead readiness activities to successfully deliver new timetables. This role involves collaborating with the Master Timetabling team to ensure all necessary preparations are in place for timely implementation, while also supporting continuous improvements to services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and manage interdependencies.
  • Proactively manage risks and issues related to timetable changes at both strategic and operational levels, ensuring all activities stay on track.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the management of timetable changes, as well as ensure the documentation and sharing of best practices and lessons learned within the team.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership teams, ensuring all proposed timetable changes and operational requirements are thoroughly assessed and communicated effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience in a similar project advisory, readiness, or delivery role, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders and respond to complex and changing timeframes in an agile manner.

Desirable skills include an understanding of the public transport sector, highly developed communication skills, and proficiency in planning using project management software.
