We are seeking a highly skilled Port Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in coordinating vessel operations, ensuring smooth port calls and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the movement of vessels, containers and cargo, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures. This includes planning arrivals, berthing, loading and departures in collaboration with all Port Stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate vessel operations from planning to execution
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
- Continuously learn about business opportunities, port activities and regulatory updates to stay informed and effective in your duties
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Valid Australian work permit, driver's license and driving experience
