Reservations Specialist - Hotel Opportunities

Hotel Reservations is a key department that contributes to the overall success of our luxury hotels.

As a Reservations Specialist, you will play a vital role in optimising hotel occupancy and average rate through efficient day-to-day operations.

Assist in handling guest complaints in a timely manner, ensuring resolutions meet guests' expectations.

Collaborate with team members to foster good rapport, promote teamwork, and facilitate effective communication.

Maintain high product and service knowledge to explain and sell services and facilities to guests.

Attends briefings, meetings, and training sessions as scheduled.

  • Assist in reservations operations to maximise hotel occupancy and average rate.
  • Manage guest complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and countries.
  • Attend scheduled briefings, meetings, and training sessions.
  • Develop product and service knowledge to enhance customer sales experiences.
Key skills and qualifications we're looking for
  • Prior experience in reservations or related fields would be advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Strong organisational skills, including multitasking in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
  • Basic maths skills, computer literacy, and strong communication abilities are essential.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work, with a willingness to take on various tasks.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are crucial for success.
  • Must have unrestricted right to work in Australia.
