Support Young People with Medium to High Needs

This role involves working with young people who require intensive support and care. You will be responsible for supervising, supporting, and providing trauma-informed care in our Intensive Therapeutic Care settings.

  • You will ensure the safety, well-being, and development of the young people by building caring relationships and promoting self-esteem, health, and life skills.
  • You will transport young people to school and appointments, and complete shift reports and mandatory incident reports.

What Skills and Qualifications Do I Need?

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Cert IV in Youth Work or a relevant tertiary qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working with children/young people in a community service setting.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • A current Working With Children clearance through the Office of the Children's Guardian (NSW).
