Job Title: Youth Care Specialist

Overview: This role involves supporting young people with medium to high needs in a therapeutic care setting. As a Youth Care Specialist, you will be responsible for supervising and providing trauma-informed care to ensure the safety, well-being, and development of the young people in your care.

  • Supervise and support young people in a group home setting">
  • Provide trauma-informed care to meet the individual needs of each young person">
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement individualized plans for each young person">
  • Monitor and report on the progress of each young person, including any challenges or successes">

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need

  1. ">
  2. Completion of a Certificate IV in Youth Work or a relevant tertiary qualification">
  3. A minimum of 3 years experience working with children/young people in a community service setting">
  4. Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with others in a fast-paced environment">
  5. Valid driver's license and a current Working With Children clearance through the Office of the Children's Guardian (NSW)">
