Job Title: Customer Service and Operations Coordinator

Support the customer service team in providing frontline support to local customers by answering inquiries, assisting with shipment updates, and ensuring a high standard of customer service. Work collaboratively with colleagues to book arrangements with carriers and coordinate with vendors for cargo pick-up and trucking deliveries.

Track shipments and update customers with real-time status, ensuring they are informed throughout the shipping process. Liaise with overseas offices to follow up on bookings, documentation, and timely arrival notifications to clients. Utilize internal ERP systems to accurately enter shipment details, input sales and cost data, and follow internal procedures for job file creation, cost approvals, and documentation updates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to local customers via phone, email, or in-person
  • Assist with booking arrangements with carriers and coordinate with vendors for cargo pick-up and trucking deliveries
  • Track shipments and update customers with real-time status
  • Liaise with overseas offices to follow up on bookings, documentation, and timely arrival notifications
  • Utilize internal ERP systems to accurately enter shipment details and input sales and cost data

Requirements:

We are looking for candidates who possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond professionally and effectively to customers and internal stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and experience in logistics or customer service is an advantage but not necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
  • Prior experience in logistics or customer service (advantage but not required)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
