**About this role**
As the Business Operations Coordinator you will contribute to the provision of high-level business, administrative and support services to the agency, identify business improvements and prepare and review policy and procedure documents.
Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Services and Systems, this role will work as part of a team to ensure that the IPC's business operations (procurement, finance, IT, records management and policy and procedures) meet the needs of staff and are provided in an effective and efficient manner. You will develop working relationships with internal Information and Privacy Commission (IPC) staff at all levels and relevant service providers to ensure service levels are maintained to a high standard.
**Your key accountabilities include**:
- Acts as a point of contact for financial matters including budget and manages the procurement and purchasing needs of the organisation to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Develop, implement, review, recommend improvements and update ICT and administrative systems, processes and policies to ensure currency and compliance with agency standards, policies and procedures.
- Monitor and address complex and/or sensitive enquiries and issues, including those that are escalated, to ensure the timely and effective resolutions of issues.
- Coordinate the delivery of business, administrative and support services to ensure the business needs of the Agency are met.
- Prepare a range of documents ensuring accurate and on-time delivery and compliance with legislative and agency requirements.
**About you**
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals with Finance, IT and Administration skills to work as part of our Systems and Corporate Services team to provide high-level business support in the areas of procurement, finance, IT systems, records management and policies and procedures. You will have the ability to work autonomously, be proactive, solve problems, manage competing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
**To be successful in this role you will have**:
- Experience in providing high-level business support services in the areas of procurement, finance, IT systems, records management and policy development.
- Practical experience in the development, use and administration of systems to monitor and manage IT systems and Procurement processes, to meet IPC's legislative obligations.
