Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Planning Director to join our client's team. As a key member of the organisation, you will play a crucial role in developing and overseeing the development of portfolio/overall schedules and implementing mechanisms for monitoring progress against the plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the development of portfolio/overall schedules and implement mechanisms for monitoring subsequent progress against the plan.
- Develop and review the development of working programs in coordination with the development and delivery teams.
- Provide and review schedule analysis, forecasts, and what-if scenarios required to support strategic planning.
- Maintain and manage the master program, including sitewide activities, logistics, and interfaces coordination for the assets.
- Contribute to the preparation of project reports, forecasts, and analysis to ensure reporting integrity, consistency, and that produced reports meet requirements, policies, and standards.
- Provide overview analysis of progress status and schedule trends to identify problem areas and recommend corrective action where necessary.
- Collaborate closely with Project Controls team and lead meetings related to program development/updates.
- Provide commercial teams with progress updates/forecasts required to produce budget forecasts and cashflows.
Requirements
An ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or any related construction field with a minimum of 18 years of experience, out of which the last 8 years in a managerial role.
