Freedom of Information Manager

This role coordinates and manages the release of information held by Forensicare in accordance with applicable legislation.
- Expert advice on FOI administration, guidelines, and processes will be provided.
The incumbent will act as a decision-maker for FOI requests, managing requests for personal, health, and corporate information.
About YouTo succeed in this role, you will require:
- Relevant qualification in law, information management, or data protection.
- Knowledge of the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Vic) and related regulations.
- Ability to interpret and apply the FOI Act in complex scenarios.
- Knowledge of the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic), the Health Records Act 2001 (Vic), and preferably the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022.
- Experience managing information release processes in compliance with legislation.
