
Senior Natural Hazard Resilience Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Research Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the field of natural hazard resilience and disaster risk reduction.
- This role will involve working with stakeholders and communities to develop research projects that promote resilience and reduce disaster risk.
- The successful candidate will have strong project management skills, including experience in partnership or stakeholder engagement/management roles.
- They will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as highly developed interpersonal skills.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Developing and managing research projects that address natural hazards and disaster risk reduction.
- Working with stakeholders and communities to identify research needs and develop solutions.
- Providing project management support to the Research Program Delivery Lead.
The successful candidate will have:
- A university degree, preferably in an area relevant to natural hazards science and/or emergency management.
- Strong project management skills, including experience in partnership or stakeholder engagement/management roles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills.
- Able to thrive in a remote working environment.
