We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Service Support Officer to join our team in Kalgoorlie. This max term, part-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission of providing essential services to the community.
As a Service Support Officer, you will ensure clients can access our services in the area in ways that are person centred, safe, and responsive. You will be the first point of contact for many clients and will help refer them to services within our organisation where appropriate.
You will provide support to ensure the smooth running of the office, providing administrative support, accurately entering data and maintaining electronic client files. Work alongside passionate and dedicated professionals in a client centred environment where you can make an impact.
This is a maximum term, part-time (10 hours per week) opportunity based in Kalgoorlie.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service to clients in need of assistance
- Respond to clients in distress, and be comfortable de-escalating people who are upset
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve organisational goals
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Relevant experience in a similar role or Cert IV qualification in community services
- Exceptional communication skills with an ability to relate to a wide range of clients
- Ability to respond to clients in distress, and be comfortable de-escalating people who are upset
- Well-developed computer skills (MS Word, MS Outlook, client management system)
- Financial management skills including ability to issue invoices and receipt money
