Service Support Role

We are seeking a dedicated Service Support Officer to join our team in Kalgoorlie. This max term, part-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission of providing essential services to the community.

  • To ensure clients can access our services in ways that are person centred, safe, and responsive.

This is a maximum term, part-time (10 hours per week) opportunity based in Kalgoorlie.

About this Opportunity

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a similar role or a Cert IV qualification in community services.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure clients can access our services in the area in ways that are person centred, safe, and responsive.
  • Provide support to ensure the smooth running of the office, including administrative support, accurately entering data, and maintaining electronic client files.

The successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year.

Requirements
  • Relevant experience in a similar role or Cert IV qualification in community services.
  • Exceptional communication skills with an ability to relate to a wide range of clients in need of assistance.
  • Able to respond to clients in distress, and be comfortable de-escalating people who are upset.
  • Well-developed computer skills (MS Word, MS Outlook, client management system).
  • Financial management skills, including the ability to issue invoices and receipt money.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • A Current National Police Clearance valid within one year.
