About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Coles Group. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for supplier and SKU onboarding and the ongoing management, COGS improvement and sourcing analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new supplier and SKU onboarding process
  • Deliver supplier analysis focused on spend, DIFOT and forecast
  • Provide operational support for strategic sourcing, contract management, reporting and varied procurement activities
  • Support superior supplier performance through continuous performance monitoring and regular supplier collaboration meetings

About You

We are looking for someone with a strong commercial acumen and an analytical approach to problem solving. You will have demonstrated stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence and drive outcomes.

Requirements

  • Skills and experience in the retail industry
  • Preference given to tertiary qualifications or industry experience in finance or legal
  • Proven experience in procurement, supply chain or other commercial functions
  • Project management and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and issues simultaneously work within a commercial, fast-paced, and complex environment
  • Strong inter-personal skills and proven ability to engage internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong planning and time management skills
