
Lead Financial Professional

A Senior Financial Accountant/Finance Manager is required to join our team, reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller/CFO. This role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to the company's financial direction while working closely with senior leaders across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end and year-end financial closes.
- Prepare and present management P&L and Balance Sheet reports, along with supporting commentary.
- Oversee general ledger (Xero) and financial accounting functions.
- Assist with cash management and cash forecasting.
- Supervise and mentor 4 distributed finance staff members.
- Work with external accountants to prepare external financial statements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for government agencies, such as ATO, ASIC, and Office of State Revenue.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a CPA/ACA qualified professional with at least 10 years of experience in medium-sized companies, preferably in the technology space. They should possess strong technical skills in financial accounting, with experience in managing recurring revenue streams.
Additional requirements include:
- Excellent financial presentation skills.
- Proficiency in using Xero, with experience in setting up multiple company entities.
- Strong cash management and forecasting skills.
