About the Role

This senior accounting position involves leading a team of finance professionals and overseeing key financial processes including month-end and year-end closes, management P&L and Balance Sheet reporting, general ledger management, cash forecasting, payroll, billings, accounts payable, and external financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of 4 distributed finance staff
  • Lead month-end and year-end financial closes
  • Develop and manage financial reports for management
  • Oversee general ledger (Xero) and financial accounting
  • Monitor and manage cash flow and forecasts
  • In-house payroll function for approximately 100 employees
  • Billing and cash collection function
  • Accounts payable management
  • Collaborate with external accountants to prepare external financial statements
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tax authorities, banks, and other regulatory bodies
  • Mentor and supervise 4 staff members
Requirements
  • CPA/ACA qualification with at least 10 years' experience in medium-sized companies, preferably in the technology sector
  • Technical expertise in financial accounting with a focus on recurring revenue streams
  • Experience integrating with other company platforms and performing due diligence on acquired companies
  • Strong financial presentation skills
  • Familiarity with Xero, particularly with a 3-company setup
  • Cash management and forecasting skills
