Job Details

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented specimen collector to join our team on a part-time or casual basis.

As a specimen collector, you will be responsible for collecting blood and other samples from patients, performing venipuncture procedures using the vacutainer method, and processing pathology specimens.

Additional duties include clerical tasks, processing paperwork, and communicating effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, be able to work under pressure, and demonstrate a commitment to patient care and service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Venepuncture experience is essential with a strong emphasis on safety protocols.
  • Previous experience in working with ABP and Holter monitors is desirable but not mandatory.
  • A current Australian driver's licence and own car are required.
