Corporate Banking Expertise

We are seeking an experienced Senior Relationship Manager to lead our Corporate and Institutional banking team in Sydney.


Main Responsibilities
  • Develop a diversified portfolio of corporate clients, gaining a deep understanding of their financial positions and borrowing requirements.
  • Create new credit proposals and restructure existing facilities to optimize portfolio performance and client outcomes.
  • Prepare comprehensive credit and financial analyses in line with our policies and risk appetite.
  • Maintain industry knowledge and stay updated on regulatory changes impacting clients and portfolio strategy.
  • Perform initial due diligence and draft detailed credit submissions for review by the Credit Risk department.
  • Manage post-settlement client relationships, monitor financial performance, and identify early signs of credit deterioration or default risk.
  • Support business development through industry events and enhance market presence.
  • Provide regular reporting and strategic feedback to senior management.

Candidate Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Relationship Management within Banking or Financial Services.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate lending products, credit structuring, and financial analysis.
  • Familiarity with AML/CTF and KYC requirements for large corporate clients and relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven ability to build strong client relationships, with effective marketing and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of operating independently in a dynamic role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
