About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Reservations Sales Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our reservations team, you will be responsible for processing all room reservations from various booking channels to maximize hotel revenue. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and valued.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate group reservation requests through various channels, including telephone, email, and online platforms.
  • Maintain the Group Reservations email inbox and meet efficiency targets.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Revenue Departments to negotiate group rates and requirements.
  • Manage group booking workflow using our CRM system, including entering group reservation requests, preparing proposals, and contracts for clients.
  • Follow up on all group reservation proposals and ensure contracts are signed.
  • Enter confirmed group bookings into our property management system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate all group reservations, paying particular attention to amendments, group requests, rooming lists, room allocations, deposits, and final invoices.
  • Communicate with the appropriate departments to ensure all group requirements and special requests are fulfilled.
  • Complete post-group stay follow-up to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with property management systems, preferably Opera PMS.
  • Excellent attention to detail and exceptional telephone etiquette.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and handle a high volume of calls and emails.
  • Strong customer service skills with a sales focus.
  • The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
