Job Description

As a highly motivated and strategic sales professional, you will drive business growth by building and executing effective channel strategies for distributors and resellers within the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities include increasing awareness of Canonical as a lead player in Open Source and Cloud, identifying and recruiting new potential partners, leveraging personal networks to engage new partners, guiding partners through onboarding and enablement, and developing mutually beneficial go-to-market plans.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive channel plans for distributors and resellers
  • Enhance visibility and reputation of Canonical among key stakeholders
  • Identify and cultivate high-value partnerships to drive revenue growth
  • Pursue opportunities for cross-selling and upselling Canonical's products and services

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales and customer success initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in software or technology sales from the specified market
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and meeting or exceeding growth quotas
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners
  • Knowledge of open source, Linux, and Ubuntu is preferred but not required
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a globally distributed team
