Key Responsibilities:

  1. Install, configure, and troubleshoot low voltage cable systems, including security and A/V equipment.
  2. Perform cable terminations, device installation, and other project duties as required.
  3. Diagnose and repair systems and/or equipment as necessary.
  4. Produce accurate documentation for the project, including system commissioning reports and test results.
  5. Communicate effectively with the Project Management team and stakeholders.
  6. Identify and report non-compliant attributes of a project, site, or system.
  7. Make informed decisions based on personal and professional judgment and verifiable criteria.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 4-6 years' experience in installing and commissioning low voltage/data communication systems.
  • OSHA 10 certification.
  • MA State A-License (Master Electrician) or B-License (Journeyman).
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to travel throughout New England.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MA State D-License.
  • Experience with integrated security control systems.
  • Industry or manufacturer certifications.
  • RI State TST Data Licensing.
  • Firestop Certification.
