At Evolution Data and Communications, we deliver high-quality commercial security installations and structured cabling systems across the Gold Coast. With a strong pipeline of projects and a supportive team, we're looking for a motivated Communications & Security Technician to join us.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Installing & upgrading advanced security systems (Inner Range, Bosch, Hikvision, Uniview)
  • Working on structured cabling systems – bonus if you've touched Commscope, R&M, Molex, Panduit
  • Delivering high-quality commercial installs & upgrades across the Gold Coast
  • Troubleshooting & problem-solving across multiple platforms
  • Running jobs independently while backing up a supportive, close-knit team
  • Building trust with clients through professional service & pride in your work
What We're Looking For
  • Hands-on experience with security system installations (commercial focus preferred)
  • Solid knowledge of CCTV, access control, and alarm systems
  • Bonus points for structured cabling expertise (especially manufacturer-warranted systems)
  • A proactive attitude and ability to work both solo and in a team
  • Strong communication skills and professional presentation (a must)
  • Pride in doing things right, the first time
