We're seeking a skilled Informatica Engineer to join our team in Sydney and the Gold Coast. As a key member of our Data Engineering group, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of data transformation.

Job Description

As an Informatica Engineer, you'll work on simplifying, modernizing, and scaling our systems to deliver exceptional customer experiences. You'll collaborate with passionate engineers and technologists on a multi-year mission to transform our core customer technology stack.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining Informatica applications to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Applying systems expertise to deliver high-quality solutions to the business.
  • Providing technical and domain consultation to improve solution robustness and support application systems.
  • Contributing to cost estimation during design and development phases with architects, BAs, PMs, SMEs, and solution providers.
  • Collaborating with engineers and stakeholders in a complex project environment.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field with a focus on Software Engineering.
  • Strong experience in systems development, support, and maintenance.
  • Expertise in Informatica PowerCenter and related tools, including ETL design, development, and performance tuning.
  • Solid knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, and proficiency in SQL/PLSQL.
  • Experience in systems integration and shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git and Bitbucket.
