About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Overnight Telephone Liaison to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our Guest Services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and respond to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing accurate information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
  • Process guest requests for wake-up calls, room service, and other services, ensuring that all requests are fulfilled to the guest's satisfaction.
  • Operate the hotel's telephone switchboard, connecting and directing calls to the appropriate extension, and taking messages for guests who are not available.
  • Provide information and assistance to guests about hotel facilities, services, and local area information, ensuring that all guests have a positive and memorable experience.
  • Work collaboratively with other hotel departments, such as Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, and Front Desk, to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm, and a willingness to adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team, to achieve common goals and objectives.
