About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Strategic Relationship Manager to join our team at Westpac. As a key member of our Commercial Banking team, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our commercial clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their financial goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to drive revenue growth, working closely with our sales and marketing teams.
  • Conduct financial analysis and risk assessments to ensure the quality of our lending decisions and maintain a strong credit portfolio.
  • Collaborate with our internal stakeholders, including credit teams and risk managers, to ensure seamless execution of our commercial lending strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity, providing insights and recommendations to inform our business decisions.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial banking, financial services, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and meeting sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, products, and services, with a focus on commercial lending and risk management.
