Strategic Planning Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Planner and Senior Strategic Planner to join our client, a NSW Government agency based in Parramatta. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a significant pipeline of projects with a strong possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical planning advice to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Prepare and gain approval for development projects, ensuring compliance with planning legislative requirements.
  • Conduct and document planning and legislative issues, reporting on project status and performing risk management analyses.
  • Assist with the review of planning assessment reports and packages to ensure they meet planning legislative requirements.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Tertiary degree in Urban/Regional Planning.
  • Previous experience in a Strategic Planning Role in Local, State Government, or Consultancy. Statutory Planners with an interest in strategic planning are also encouraged to apply.
