Job Description

The key duties of this position involve overseeing the delivery of a portfolio of work, encompassing assigned projects, under a PRINCE2-based framework utilizing Agile, ITIL, and ADKAR methodologies. This is aligned with the Enterprise Portfolio Management Framework, Bureau Delivery Framework, and ICT Delivery Model.

  • Plan and manage project schedules, ensuring scope management in line with project/program plans and approved designs.
  • Manage portfolio and program risks, issues, dependencies, changes, and quality.
  • Oversee financial tracking, forecasting, and reporting for portfolios, programs, and projects, using endorsed project tracking tools, and represent projects in program and project meetings.
  • Maintain portfolio artifacts following standards, contributing to governance, standards, processes, and templates improvements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Managing and coordinating program and project resources to deliver work packages and products.
  2. Coordinating service delivery for Design, Build, Testing, Transition to Operations (including GoLive documentation), Technology Change Management, Implementation, and Post-Implementation Review.
  3. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders as the main point of contact, ensuring engagement, information sharing, and anticipation of client needs and issues.
  4. Overseeing procurement of hardware, software, and IT services, ensuring appropriate resourcing and funding.
  5. Complying with all health and safety policies, taking reasonable care for personal and others' safety.
  6. Demonstrating commitment to APS Values, Employment Principles, Code of Conduct, and the Social Justice Strategy.
