Portfolio Manager

The responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
1. Plan and manage the delivery of a portfolio of work, including assigned projects, under a PRINCE2-based framework utilizing Agile, ITIL, and ADKAR methodologies, aligned with the Enterprise Portfolio Management Framework, Bureau Delivery Framework, and ICT Delivery Model.
2. Oversee IT project schedules, ensuring scope management in line with project/program plans and approved designs.
3. Manage portfolio and program risks, issues, dependencies, changes, and quality.
4. Oversee financial tracking, forecasting, and reporting for portfolios, programs, and projects, using EPMO-endorsed project tracking tools, and represent projects in program and project meetings.
5. Maintain portfolio artifacts following Bureau standards, contributing to governance, standards, processes, and templates improvements.
6. Manage and coordinate program and project resources to deliver work packages and products, including resource forecasting, onboarding, performance management, and stakeholder engagement.
7. Coordinate service delivery for Design, Build, Testing, Transition to Operations (including GoLive documentation), Technology Change Management, Implementation, and Post-Implementation Review.
8. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as the main point of contact, ensuring engagement, information sharing, and anticipation of client needs and issues.
9. Oversee procurement of hardware, software, and IT services, ensuring appropriate resourcing and funding.
10. Comply with all Bureau health and safety policies, taking reasonable care for personal and others' safety.
11. Demonstrate commitment to APS Values, Employment Principles, Code of Conduct, and the Bureau's Social Justice Strategy.
