About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Driver to lead our Airside team on shift. As a key member of our Customer Delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of service to all customers in line with operational schedules and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and coordinate team members in the Customer Delivery department to ensure productivity and performance criteria are met.
  • Performance Management: Ensure completion of regular performance assessment reports and assist in the supervision of catering trucks within a designated work area.
  • Leadership: Lead by example and perform all the duties of a Driver, including supervising, training, and inducting workers within a designated work area.
  • Administrative Duties: Organise and coordinate work within the designated work area, perform administrative and reporting duties as required, and follow up on any discrepancies.
Requirements
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrate leadership, decision-making, and organisational skills necessary to efficiently meet performance requirements in a changing work environment.
  • Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Qualifications: Must hold and maintain possession of a valid ASIC card, a valid Australian state/territory MR or greater driver's license, and the authority to drive airside ADA.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility in working around flight schedules is essential, with a 7-day per week operation.
  • Certifications: Fork Lift license preferred, First Aid Certificate, and WHS qualifications are also preferred.
