Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance professional to join our team as a Senior Quality Assurance Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our Integrated Management Systems (IMS) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Your primary focus will be on coaching, training, and reviewing competency of operations team members, including standard checking and calibration of equipment. You will also analyze quality information to identify trends in support of operational teams, investigate and report consumer and customer complaints, and review Quality and Production Process Controls in operations.

In addition, you will actively participate in continuous improvement (CI) projects, conduct compliance testing and calibration activities, and coordinate the collection and dispatch of routine samples. Your expertise in microbiology will be invaluable in ensuring the quality of our products.

Responsibilities
  • Coaching, training, and reviewing competency of operations team members, including standard checking and calibration of equipment.
  • Analyzing quality information to identify trends in support of operational teams.
  • Investigating and reporting consumer and customer complaints.
  • Reviewing Quality and Production Process Controls in operations and generating change management in conjunction with production as required.
  • Actively participating in continuous improvement (CI) projects.
  • Conducting/compliance testing and calibration activities to ensure adherence to the Quality Framework.
  • Coordinating the collection and dispatch of all routine samples as per Quality framework.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in the FMCG/Food manufacturing/Packaging Technology industry.
  • A background in microbiology.
  • Proven safety accountability.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Awareness and understanding of QMS, HACCP, and Food Safety Programmes.
