Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician/Mechanic to join our Service Team as a Technician. This role involves providing technical support and maintenance services to wind turbines, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability.

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking scheduled service and reactive maintenance tasks, responding to site calls outside normal working hours, and maintaining company vehicles and equipment in good condition.

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on wind turbines, including lubrication, inspection, and repair of mechanical and electrical components
  • Respond to site calls and undertake reactive maintenance tasks as required
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and submit reports as necessary

The ideal candidate will possess a trade certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, relevant work experience, and excellent communication skills. They will also have the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and quality.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A recognized trade certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Relevant work experience in the wind industry or a similar field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • A strong commitment to safety and quality
  • A valid driver's license

Other desirable qualifications include GWO training, working at heights, safety, manual handling, HV/LV rescue, fire awareness, and first aid.
