RSGx is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join our team on a landmark renewable energy project in the Pilbara, WA. This is a lead role in delivering one of Western Australia's largest solar farms, with future opportunities across our growing energy transition portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate electrical engineering design, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Oversee construction of PV arrays, PCS units, transmission lines, and substation connection works.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to construction teams and subcontractors.
- Manage engineering documentation, drawings, and quality assurance/quality control processes.
- Support testing, commissioning, and final handover of electrical infrastructure.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Previous experience on large-scale power, transmission, or renewable energy projects.
- Knowledge of 33 kV transmission/distribution overhead lines, substation integration, and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- FIFO 2:1 roster from Australian capital cities to WA.
