Energy Transformation Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the commissioning of various renewable projects and ensure their safe, reliable, and affordable operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Commission and oversee the integration of renewable energy sources into the power system.\
• Collaborate with Transmission Network Service Providers (TNSPs) and Distribution Network Service Providers (DNSPs) to optimize energy transmission and distribution.\
• Develop long-term relationships with key industry players, providing training and mentoring to junior team members.\
• Strengthen our technical collaboration with clients, drive R2 model validation, and provide expert technical advice on performance standard assessment, power system stability, system strength remediation, registration, and commissioning.\
• Maintain knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in the renewable energy sector.\
• Promote AEMO's commitment to a net-zero economy by 2050 through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.\
• Support the development of strategic plans to ensure AEMO meets its ambitious renewable energy targets.\
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed.\
• Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.\
• Provide high-quality technical reports and presentations to stakeholders.\
• Contribute to the creation of engaging content for industry forums, conferences, and memberships.\
• Foster close connections throughout the organization through flexible work arrangements.\

Requirements:
