Job Description

The position of Associate Professor/Professor, Discipline of Surgery at Randwick Clinical Campus is a key role in advancing academic excellence and fostering innovation in teaching, research, and engagement.

As a senior academic leader, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving high-quality surgical education, leading impactful research, and contributing to curriculum design and delivery aligned with UNSW's academic standards.

Key responsibilities include mentoring staff and students, supervising Higher Degree Research (HDR) candidates, and participating in governance through committees and leadership groups.

At Level D, the focus is on building national recognition and developing strong collaborations to advance the discipline.
