Job Title: Nursing Stroke Specialist

This role plays a pivotal part in delivering high-quality patient care, grounded in best practice for stroke management.

The ideal candidate will lead staff education initiatives, provide expert guidance, and deliver targeted clinical education to nursing staff in collaboration with multidisciplinary clinicians.

A key aspect of this position is evaluating educational outcomes and participating in clinical practice reviews to ensure evidence-based care. Additionally, supporting continuous improvement in patient outcomes across the hospital through early identification and timely management of stroke is crucial.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Registered Nurse - Division 1 qualification with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Holds extensive relevant clinical or education post registration qualifications or such education and clinical experience deemed appropriate by the employer
  • Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous quality improvement, and risk management
