Nurse Specialist - Community Health Services

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our community health services team. This rewarding role involves delivering high-quality nursing care across both centre-based and community settings.

  • Provide expert wound management, foot care, catheter changes, medication administration, and palliative support
  • Work closely with a supportive and close-knit team of Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses
  • Be guided by an experienced Nurse Unit Manager with access to specialist support and regular opportunities for professional development
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assessing and managing client needs in a community setting
  • Providing individualized care plans that address physical, emotional, and social needs
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • A current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel for home visits
  • Previous community nursing experience (desirable but not essential)
