
Compassionate Healthcare Specialist

As a dynamic and committed nursing professional, you will join our collaborative team in Inverell District Hospital's Emergency Department. Our department provides comprehensive care for critical and acute patients, supported by a full-time onsite doctor and a skilled multidisciplinary team.
You will take pride in delivering exceptional patient care while working alongside experienced staff members across morning, evening, and night shifts based on a structured roster. We offer a comprehensive orientation program and pair each new staff member with a mentor to ensure a smooth transition into our team.
We value prior experience in triage and emergency settings but do not require it. On-the-job training and assistance in acquiring relevant qualifications are available to support your professional growth. Both onsite and external learning opportunities enhance your career development.
Inverell Hospital is a busy rural district hospital with various departments, including the Emergency Department, Renal Dialysis Unit, In-Patient Unit, Maternity Services, and Surgical Services. You will be part of a diverse workforce consisting of students, assistants, enrolled nurses, registered nurses, and midwives.
To be successful, you must possess current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Additional information about eligibility, incentives, and requirements can be found below.
